Following UKYP’s campaign to improve sex and relationships education (SRE) in schools, the Government has announced a range of reforms, including making PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education) a compulsory part of the curriculum for 5 to 16 year-olds. This will include consistent sex and relationships education for all young people.

The argument presented by the NUT et al, is one sided. The Army gives an individual self-respect, a sense of worth. The fantastic opportunities, life-changing events are available in the Forces. It is not about killing people and destruction. Sometimes it is about bringing peace and hope. Sometimes the politics is also wrong.

I work hard, I pay tax and then find it's paying for businesses back home for failed asylum seekers, child benefit for kids living in Poland, the list goes on - and my kid's student loans get bigger and school standards are dropping.
